The pictures here are from early 1996 press release announcement of the game for the Saturn. Have a couple of other pictures, but those are from the press announcement of the PSX version.

Sega Saturn game features:
- Play indoors and outdoors on the Supercross circuit.
- Set the camera angle yourself.
- Fully articulated players and bikes compete in a unique fully 3-D real-time racing game.
- Special throttle settings allow players to perform maneuvers and tricks.
- Multi-player capability.
- Soundtrack by Tommy Tallarico and Mike Cihak.

      

This is fantastic!, it could have been the third motoracer game in the Saturn beside ManxTT and Hang on GP 95.
Observing the images i could believe are the Saturn version; the way that the polygons looks and the cuality of the final screenshoot (i imagine is the intro secuence) according to the Saturn standars.

PS: I´ve  found this video. Is all the E3 in 1997 and is too long, but look at : 1:20:00   . Is the PSX version of course but it may proof that the Saturn version had been canceled time before.

Off-topic: What about minute 0:32:50         Could it be the same video footage believed as the Saturn version?. It takes place at the Eidos stand.

As far as I can tell the pictures files dates go from 2/1996 to 4/1996, so plus a year before the PSX release. Been the last the oldest one.

Este juego lo justifiqué en la lista que vengo haciendo de los unreleased de la Saturn, pero no pude encontrar casi nada de información ni -por supuesto- imágenes:

Como ya comenté, por la fecha de la noticia y la del supuesto lanzamiento debió ser cancelado a última hora.

Ahora al menos ya tenemos unas screenshots de lo que era la versión de Saturn.

P.D: Buen curro de investigación también, Fandu. Ese vídeo está realmente bien (aunque creo que el Fighting Force parece el de PSX, no?

Pues eso me pareció a mi, si no me falla el ojo, juraría que es la misma demo que aparece en otro video del E3 del 97 de Saturn, lo que me lleva a temer, que quizás, ambas sean la misma demo y sea de Playstation y no de Saturn.
(ahora que aparezca alguien con el Fighting force de Saturn para callarme la boca)  

Respecto al VMX Racing, quizás ahora que se sabe un poquiito más algún experto en este tema podría seguirle la pista, intentar contactar con sus desarrolladores o cosas así tipo Woita y ver si hay alguna probabilidad de dar con algo tangible.    Si algo bueno tienen los Yankis en este tema es que son pro-release.
No sé si le habrás echado un ojo pero algo así tampoco estaría mal.
