This is actually Alone in the Dark 2, not the first Alone in the Dark. I don't know if that was ever planned for the 32X, but the game screenshots that were displayed in several mags back in the day were definitely from Alone in the Dark 2.

Someday I would like to see a homebrew Alone in the Dark running on either the 32X or the Sega Saturn, but that's a completely different topic.

Realmente es Alone in the Dark 2, no el primer Alone in the Dark. No sé si el primero se llegó a planear para 32X, pero lo que sí sé es que las capturas que se pudieron ver en su día en varias revistas eran de Alone in the Dark 2.

Algún día me gustaría ver una versión homebrew de Alone in the Dark para 32X o Sega Saturn, pero ese es otro tema completamente diferente.

Yeah. There are many sources mentioning the unreleased 32X game as "Alone in the Dark", either because they tend to think it was the first game, or because they don't know the series at all. But the screenshots showed in several mags back in the day are proof enough to show which game in the series actually was, the same one which ended being released on the Sega Saturn (no relation though, since the Sega Saturn version is a conversion of the reworked PlayStation version, while the 32X seemed to be converted from the PC version like the 3DO version). Hay muchas fuentes que aluden al cancelado juego de la saga para 32X simplemente como "Alone in the Dark", ya sea porque tienden a pensar que se trataba del primer juego de la saga, o simplemente porque no conocen la saga en absoluto. Pero las imágenes que se pudieron ver en varias revistas en su día son pruebas suficientes para entrever el juego de la saga del que se trataba exactamente, el mismo que acabó siendo lanzado en Sega Saturn (sin relación, eso sí, porque la versión Sega Saturn es una conversión de la mejorada versión para PlayStation, en tanto que la versión 32X parecía que iba a ser conversionada directamente de la de PC, tal y como la de 3DO). Side note: Some of the 32x games even the released ones are in fact ports of PC the versions.

In Europe, the series is well known. It's mostly in other regions like North America where it is largely unknown for most people.

Hello. Not that one Fandu, the 32X is a port of the PC version. In fact if you play the PC version of Judge Dreed you are playing the 32X version.

por otro lado creo que es conocido al menos hasta cierto punto que uno de los tantas fases de Desarrollo Iniciales que tuvo Sonic X-treme paso por 32X....

Sure ShdowVader, but where do you put for example two Mega Drive prototypes, Sonic Stadium and Beyond Zero Tolerance?
- Sonic Stadium was meant for the MD then it got released as Knuckles Chaotix on the 32x.
- Beyond Zero Tolerance started as a game for the MD and at one point it moved to the 32x too then it was canceled.
