As so I may release video footage of what may only be the Saturn version of "Legacy of Kain". It is footage of the alpha of the game.

Incredible!! Saturn has few secrets to me yet..., "legacy of Kain" :shock: , are you talking about Soul Reaver?? this was one of my favorite games in 32 bit era, if its true ill could die by happiness. greetings

No not the 3D one Fandu, it's the top-down one the very first Legacy of Kain series game.
The game was planed for PC, PSX and SAT got released on PC and PSX was canceled for SAT.

El de 3DO si no me equivoco era otro, creo que lo hacian otros programadores ademas.
El de Saturn era similar al de Virtual Boy en teoria, que yo sepa.

Como he dicho por miedo a movidas con la UNIVERSAL. Es casi imposible que pasara nada, pero supongo que los programadores se curan en salud.
Lo peor es que encima lo venden bien, para hacernos sufrir mas, mira lo que decia Woita:

It does exist! I really like playing it, but I'm kind of biased towards it :)
I may be wrong about this, but I think the problem will be getting the OK from Universal, or who ever owns the rights to any WaterWorld products.
I would really like to have the game out there and be playable on emulators or what ever. I think people would love the game. I'm just thinking back and there were only three of us working on that game from start to finish.
If you've got any legal ideas on how to make this game available to the masses, I'd love to hear it!

Por lo que se aprecia el video es de la versión de 3DO, (lo acaban de resubir hace poco, no lo habia visto antes), aún así creo que es la intro, es decir, no ingame, muy bueno sería , lo que me sorprende la calidad del video no?, me imagino que la versión Saturn será muy similar o incluso mejor. Lo que pinta muy bien verdad? que ganas de probarlo.

Según la entrevista a Iwota, la versión Saturn era la mejor tanto en idea (era la versión más cercana a lo que los progamadores deseaban) como en jugabilidad y gráficos. Pero si, la versión de 3DO junto con la de SNES no la llevaban los mismos que la de Saturn y VB.
¿se sabe si eso de los problemas legales y tal (cosa que no entiendo, habiendose liberado protos de otros juegos y la versión de éste de megadrive sin problema alguno) ha cambiado, y por tanyo esperanza de una release pública? saludos.

Hola, os cuento en la Hobby Consolas circulo la version de Saturn que les llego en un "silver" para ser probada asi que la copia debe de andar de buena mano por algun sitio. :twisted:
Creo que estaba en el pack que se vendio en su dia en Assambler, o en un foro similar.

Me parece raro que este juego llegaran a hacer un silver, que como sabeis es preproduccion ya...

Por cierto, podemos confirmar que el video NO corresponde a la versión de Sega Saturn. Es promocional solo, pero no iba a estar dentro del juego.

Hace tiempo cuando tube la oportunidad de tener algunas betas en mis manos de SuperJuegos, por la tienda donde yo frecuentaba "DreamGames" GameMaster" solian venir algunos redactores y conocidos a ver el material y demas aparte de la amistad que tenian con el dueño.
En DreamGames tubieron un DragonBall GT muy early de Psx y en GameMaster recuerdo que tubieron cerca de 4 o 5 juegos de HobbyConsolas aparte de algunos de pc que rularon por alli ya que un programador de Dinamic amigo del dueño y otros compañeros de alli incluso nos enseño bocetos y demos de "La Prision" .
Hace poco hablando con un contacto le pregunte por juegos de Saturn,Psx unreleased y me comento del Waterworld le sonaba de haberse vendido en un lote de juegos Unreleased por muy poco dinero junto algunos de otros sistemas.

Tambien hay una version de waterworld para arcade. Fue cancelada debido a que necesitaba 40 monedas para funcionar y el personaje daba un paso y perdias. Existe un video ingame en un capitulo de los simpsons llamado "Los expedientes secretos de Springfield" :lol:
Lo siento pero no podia evitar el chiste hablando del tema. De casualidad, no se sabe algo de la version game boy?

Aprovechando el reflote, se sabe algo? Yo he jugado al de Virtualboy y es bastante lamentable, si es cierto que este lo recuerda pq vas con el barco todo el rato, pero espero que sea bastante mejor XD

Now for the records I do know that a beta with ending (but with some bugs still) is at the hands of someone. And that there is a finished build believed to be a preview copy of the game. So there are two builds of Legacy of Kain for the saturn, but then again the "believed" preview copy may well be the same as the first.

Thanks mate for the info, it's new for me to know that there are two beta located. It will be awesome to see how it looks in Saturn, i'll pray to your video appears :wink: .
Too much time has passed since 1996 and we all become old...,do you Know if there is any chance of public release any day?

Will searching for the video of Lofk I found around 5 pictures of another unreleased game for the Saturn. And I have been looking around the web and nothing about it for the Saturn unless text news can be found. Is of any use this pictures? If so I could released them to the public.
