How works this software?. Is it an emulator for the SS?
Something similar like the Wii uses, for example?
Allways is fine to see proyects like that on the Saturn, which compared to the other systems looks far away in this kind of stuff.

Sí, Fandu. Como habrás visto es el FB Alpha para la Saturn.

vbt ha hecho ya muchas cosas para la scene de Saturn, entre ellas este emu que tiene muy buena pinta. Estoy viendo que su web personal donde tenía alojada muchas cosas se ha caído y no están disponibles ya... una lástima!

Tengo curiosidad por probarlo, ya me llamó la atención el otro hilo en que se mencionaba. Y por desgracia no pude asistir a la RetroBarcelona así que no se que cosas interesantes se llegó a mostrar en el Stand, seguro había cosas realmente chulas y veo que esta era una.

¿Había un tutorial o que pasos son necesarios para preparar el CD con emulador y algún juego?

just burn the iso, you need a modchip or maybe pseudosaturn then try the emulator.

Ya lo he probado en mi Saturn :)
Desconocía la existencia del emulador hasta haberlo visto en este hilo. Todavía quedan aspectos por pulir pero va por muy buen camino. Algunos juegos corren mejor que otros, unos imposibles de tratar por diversos fallos y otros perfectamente jugables a pesar del sonido. Aun con parpadeos he andado un buen rato jugando al Wonder boy. Muy, muy curioso, gracias.

Wonderboy is one of the most polished game, i've spent a lot of time to improve emulation. the last improvement was priority of background over sprites (for instance water over octopus).

En cuanto ponga la consola para echar unas partidas también probaré el emulador. Pensé que venía el binario solo y había que preparar la ISO.

- driver improvement

Yo creo que pantalla completa y si fuera posible opciones para modificar el aspect ratio de la misma sería muy interesante.
