surely, the target was mainly to implement most used SDL functions and do more game ports. it's not really optimized, i remember the frame counter slow downs the game

Sounds great. Chilly Willy is working on this for the 32X and Mega-CD 32X. Don't know if he'll ever do the same for the Sega Saturn, assuming you are not working any further on this.

no it's not stopped, it moves slowly since C4 contest, i have added some memcpy in asm + i tried to use dma with no success. also it's not that slow, it includes soundtracks and sound effects.
