SEGASaturno - Saturn, SEGA y Videojuegos

Uno de los emuladores más impresionantes de la Saturn, por no decir que el que más, es el FBA. Como ya estaréis al tanto, emula también a la Master System. Con las similitudes a nivel hardware que podríamos decir que hay entre el MSX/SG1000/CV y ya hemos visto varios hardwares que dan fe de ese hecho, permitiéndonos jugar por ejemplo juegos de MSX en la Gamegear o de la Master System en el propio MSX.



A donde quiero llegar es que alguien ha sugerido a su programador vbt esta posibilidad y ya nos ha ofrecido ese screenshot que veis. Lo que parece indicar es que FBA soportará MSX en su próxima versión así que podremos jugar al menos varios juegos de este mítico sistema en nuestra Sega Saturn.

Aquí tenéis el tema del que he sacado la información, que es el venerado SegaXtreme.

Se imaginan jugando los Metal Gear originales, SD Snatcher, Castlevania...

That would be friggin' awesome. MSX itself is a terrific machine to have emulated, let alone MSX2. Do you think that, based on Saturn's chipset and capabilities, it could be done?

Este tipo de noticias soprenden mucho, con los difícil que es de programar en esta consola, que funcione un emulador es un logro

well msx1 is working better and better, i've tested most of konami antiques games and they run well.

no idea yet, surely before the end of the year. i'm working a bit on speed even if most games running well.

I was wondering, since the very first thing would be playing Metal Gear, would there be a way to remap those F"nº" keys in order to access everything that's needed?

it depends on how many keys needed to play msx correctly, i'm no much familiar with this computer/console. there are 6 buttons available on the pad, i've played some games it looked to be enough, if not i can map some keys to the second pad.
now i'm quite happy with emulation speed and sound rendering.
