Fijaos:

Age of Empires II Too Early to Call
We made our way to Konami to get the goods, but there wasn't much to see.
US, May 13, 2000
by IGN Staff
Stratgey fans hoping E3 would be offer the first big news on Konami's AoEII will have to keep on waiting. Our preview of Konami's upcoming Dreamcast strategy game, the port of Age of Empires II, was based on the PC version, and unfortunately there's not much more to tell.
The Dreamcast version showing wasn't playable, and in fact was so early that instead of a list of features below the monitor, there was a list of the lack of features (most notable on the list of omitted features were sound, AI, and framerate).
Konami's press summary makes it sound like there won't be any particularly notable changes from the PC version, though, so anyone curious about what will be one of the first strategy games for the Dreamcast will do well to check out one of the many stories available on the original PC version.

Konami's TGS Lineup Announced
Three titles are in store for Sega's system, but what are they?
US, September 11, 2000
by IGN Staff
This week begins the flood of companies releasing their Tokyo Game Show lists. These lists are filled with whatever the company plans on showing at its booth, ranging from games to controllers to random guests. Konami is starting off the flow this week, announcing just what will be displayed in their corner.
Konami plans on showing three titles for the Dreamcast. The Grinch, Hamunaptra: The Lost Desert's Capital, and Age of Empires II. Hamunaptra appears to be the new title of Konami's game based off of The Mummy. The company also disclosed tentative release dates for each of these games. You can expect The Grinch on November 22nd, Hamunaptra in November, and Age of Empires II somewhere down the road.
