Bueno, pues voy a empezar yo mismo.

- Castlevania Resurrection (Konami Computer Entertainment America)

YouTube Link

- Jump Runner (Glass Ghost)

Jump Runner

Release Date: Unknown
Status: Announced
Developer: Glass Ghost
Publisher: Unknown
Genre: Simulation

Game Summary

You take control of Ethan Fall, an intergalactic pirate, smuggler, and all-around nasty guy. As the game begins you're handed a mysterious package which you agree to take on. As you might get, it turns out to be more than you'd bargained for..

The Buzz

We haven't heard a peep about this one in ages. It's probably canceled.

Jump Runner sega dreamcast Glass Ghost unreleased cancelled canned cancelado

Planet Of The Apes - Fox Interactive

- Viva Soccer (Crimson - Interplay)

viva_soccer

Soccer Lives on Dreamcast?
Interplay is working on a new Soccer title for Dreamcast. Details inside.
by IGN Staff
November 3, 1999

As if projects from both Infogrames and Sega weren't enough, we've confirmed today that Interplay Productions is also planning a little football action of its own on the Dreamcast. Tentatively titled VIVA Soccer, little is know about the game, save that it will be an enhanced version of the PlayStation release of the same name, which Interplay recently picked up from European partner Virgin Interactive.

The current buzz on a domestic release is December 7th, however, a source close to the project has indicated that this date "seems ambitious" in light of the project's current status. We'll be back with more information as soon as the title's future becomes more certain.

Take The Bullet - Red Lemon Studios

http://www.ign.com/games/dynamite-robo/dc-14607

http://web.archive.org/web/20110717....warashi.co.jp/

Dynamite Robo
Warashi
It’s an action game, and that’s all we can tell you right now.

Akihabara Denno-Gumi Pata Pies
Sega
Um. Since we have no details about this title at all, your guess as to what it is will probably be just as good as ours. Actually, probably better, since we think it’s a simulation of a pie-eating contest in which the player takes control of a magical lardass fat bloke with an enormous appetite.

Akolyte
Ionos
We’re still digging for information about this little-known title.

Blue Stinger
Climax
This graphically outstanding action-RPG, not dissimilar in style to Resident Evil, is underway from Climax Studios. Check out the preview.

Biohazard – Code: Veronica
Capcom
Clean underwear is highly recommended for this -- the best-looking and scariest zombie-fest yet!

Carrier
Jaleco
Interesting-sounding action adventure that's similar to RE4, but is set on a futuristic aircraft carrier.

Chakan: The Forever Man
Sega
Apaloosa/And Now are developing this sequel to the obscure Genesis action title starring a katana and revolver wielding immortal warrior. Gone is the original's 2D side-scrolling gameplay, replaced by fully 3D Tomb Raider-like action.

Cho Hamaru Golf
Sega
Featuring bright and colorful stylized graphics, this arcadey golf game will hopefully play better than it looks.

Climax Landers
Climax
Zelda-esque is a phrase that springs to mind when describing this nice-looking RPG from Climax.

Cool Boarders
UEP System
It’s a snowboarding race game – and it’s looking pretty good from the very early demo shown at Tokyo Game Show.

Crack 2
Sieg
No announcements have been made about this as yet, other than the fact that it’s in development for Dreamcast.

D2
Warp
This cool-sounding 3D adventure game is looking astounding on Dreamcast -- check out the preview.

Daytona USA 2: Battle on the Edge "Special"
Sega
Sega's latest racer will make an appearance on Dreamcast – with alleged improvements, including the original Daytona's Hornet race car and new tracks.

Dead or Alive 2
Tecmo
This should be an excellent translation of the top-notch fighting game, assuming Tecmo uses the awesome power of Dreamcast. Which is a pretty safe bet, one would think.

Digital Horse Racing Newspaper
Shouei Systems
Guess what this is! It’s one of those horse racing simulations that is much-beloved in Japan, but will probably never see the light of day in the states.

D-Jump
Ubi Soft
Little is known about this title, which Ubi Soft recently confirmed as being in development.

Dynamite Robo
Warashi
It’s an action game, and that’s all we can tell you right now.

Ecco the Dolphin 3D
Appaloosa
Everyone’s favorite sub-aquatic mammal makes his long-awaited return in this all-new 3D underwater adventure game.

Elemental Gimmick Gear
Hudson
Hudson's highly original, very Japanese action RPG involves players controlling a strange egg-like robot on a sprawling quest. The title combines both 2D and 3D action sequences for exploring and fighting, respectively.

Entertainment Golf
Bottom Up
It’s up to you to decide what this sport sim will be ‘cos we’re too lazy to tell you.

Evolution
Sting
Here's another role-player. This one is of the cute variety, and sports bright, colorful graphics and stylized characters.

Flight Shooting
Konami
Konami's first Dreamcast offering will be this incredibly detailed jet warfare simulator in the vein of Namco's Ace Combat series.

Frame Gride
From Software
The Armored Core developer's first DC title is, not surprisingly, another mech game. Shown at Tokyo Game Show as an "unknown title," it's already the most gorgeous mission-based giant robot games we've ever seen.

Furballs
Bizarre Creations
This strange-sounding game is a cartoon-style shooter that features six different characters, each which has unique skills and weapons.

Galleon
Confounding Factor
The lead programmer and lead artist of the Tomb Raider series have broken away from Core to form their own development group, and Galleon is their first title. It's a 3D adventure game that takes the Tomb Raider style gameplay to new heights. Expect to see it on PC first, with a Dreamcast version to follow in early 2000.

Geist Force
Sega
Developed at Sega’s internal US studios, this open-environment shooter, originally shown at this year’s E3 as a demo, is being turned into a full-blown product that will be launched when the Dreamcast debuts in the US.

Get Bass
Sega
Yep. It’s a fishing game. And it’ll be compatible with the Dreamcast fishing reel peripheral that’s in development right now. Be still our beating hearts.

Giant Glam – Japanese National Pro-Wrestling at the Nippon Budokan
Sega
Ah! What we like to see. A nice, self-explanatory title.

Grandia II
Game Arts
One of the earliest recipients of a Dreamcast development kit, Game Arts is busy working on an all-new Grandia title.

Great Buggy
CSK
It’s a buggy racing game.

Gundam
Bandai
The highly popular Gundam mechs are on their way to Dreamcast, although what type of game this will be has yet to be announced.

Harukaze Sentai V Force 2

It’s a simulation RPG, and that’s all we know.

Hiryu-no Ken Retsuden
Culture Brain
Yet another fighter – although there are scant few details about this one as of yet.

Hydro Thunder
Midway
Dreamcast will get its first powerboat racing title in the form of this arcade-style offering that's set to arrive in arcades in the spring.

Incoming
Rage
This PC shooter is currently being ported to Dreamcast for the Japanese market. Expect it to appear in the states too as an early launch title.

King of Fighters ’98 – Dream Match Never Ends
SNK
One of SNK’s best fighting games is on its way to Dreamcast in all its side-scrolling 2D glory.

Let's Make a Pro Baseball Team
Sega
Manage your own Baseball team in this stylized simulation that sports deformed characters and tons of stats.

Let's Make a Pro Soccer Club
Sega
Like the baseball title, this is a management sim with tons of stats. Unlike the baseball game, however, the graphics are far more realistic, and it carries an official J-League license.

Maken X
Atlus
Atlus' first Dreamcast offering comes in the form of a third-person action adventure game with odd Nazi-esque overtones.

Mah Jong
Kaga Tech/Naxat Soft
It’s a Mah Jong game.

Marvel vs. Capcom
Capcom
It's side-on beat 'em up action in typical Capcom style as their ultimate fighting game hits Dreamcast. Hurrah!

MDK 2
Interplay
It's muder, death, kill all over again, but this time the action's not coming from Shiny – Bioware is taking the helm for this sequel.

Merukuriusu Pretty
NEC
This Japanese role-player is set in a bizarre fantasy world. There are no plans yet for a Western version, and maybe it'll never appear over here...

Metropolis
Bizarre Creations
The creator of Psygnosis' Formula 1 series is hard at work on Metropolis. It's a driving game with incredible physics and amazing graphics, according to a fellow we know who recently saw it. It will feature real cars, though there are no license details available yet.

Mortal Kombat 4 "Special"
Midway
No system’s software library would be complete without a version of Mortal Kombat, and Dreamcast is no exception. The latest episode in this long-running fighting series will appear in all its gory 3D glory, reportedly featuring characters and environments from the popular Mortal Kombat 2.

Monaco Grand Prix Racing Simulation
Ubi Soft
Ubi's Grand Prix racer is set for a winter launch in Japan. Featuring all of today's cars and tracks, as well as a Retro Mode that sports authentic 50's cars and courses from that era, this Dreamcast racer is looking very cool indeed.

Monster Breed
NEC
Raise your own monsters, save ‘em to VMS and take ‘em around your friends house and fight them against his.

NBA Action 2000
Sega
Basketball hits the new millennium with Sega's arcade-style game that should be a winner!

NFL Blitz 2000
Midway
Midway's excellent arcade football game is coming to Dreamcast. It should be even better than the coin-op, unless the programmers completely screw up the conversion. And why would they?

Nijiro Tenshi
Sega
No details have been released about this simulation as of yet. Indeed, we don’t even know what it’s a simulation of! Doh!

Monster Breed
Sega
Raise a monster, save it to VMS and take it around a friend's house and fight it against his own monsters. Sounds like fun? We certainly think so.

Ohzumo
Bottom Up
It’s a sumo wrestling game, for those of you who are interested.

Pop'n Music
Konami
Konami's chief arcade revenue source in Japan – dance and rhythm games – is fast becoming a console priority, and this is its latest such creation in the genre. Not quite Parappa, yet more elaborate than Beat Mania, this game is being targeted at the younger crowd with colorful graphics and cute characters.

Power Stone
Capcom
A first for Capcom – a fully-3D fighting game. It’s actually really cool because the fighting environments have multiple levels, and there are all sorts of objects that you can pick up and use to mash your opponent.

Puyo-Puyon
Compile
It’s actually Puyo-Puyo 4 (the first game was released in the states as Dr Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine on Genesis), a strange, but highly addictive puzzle game that has a variety of multi-player modes.

Rayman 2
Ubi Soft
One of the most amazing-looking PC platformers yet is scheduled for release on Dreamcast. It should be one to watch for.

RealSound 2
WARP
WARP's second audio-only title is coming to Dreamcast, and this time the theme is one of fear, not love as in the Saturn original. Creator Kenji Eno has said that the only graphics in this game will be a gigantic blinking eyeball. Eek!

Red Dog
Argonaut
This fast-paced tank shoot ‘em up is well underway by English developers Argonaut, the guys who brought you Star Fox and Croc.

Sega Rally 2
Sega
Burn rubber in this conversion of Sega's popular racing game. As well as featuring all the tracks and cars of the arcade original, the title will sport new cars, new tracks, and a 10 year rally championship mode. Brilliant!

Shenmue
Sega
The mysterious Dreamcast title that Sega maestro Yu Suzuki is working on is none other than Virtua Fighter RPG. It’s still at a very, very early stage at the moment, with little more than a young Shun (the old drunken fighter bloke) wandering around some basic environments. Gameplay details are non-existent at the moment, but what we can confirm is that one level will be based on the Babylon Dreamcast demo.

Shienryu 2
Warashi
It’s a shooter, and that’s all we know.

Street Fighter III: Second Impact
Capcom
Yay! The Streetfighter franchise continues unabated in this latest iteration of the series.

Sonic Adventure
Sega
Sega's evergreen mascot makes his Dreamcast debut in a game that promises to capture the spirit of his original platform-style adventures – but in 3D.

Speed Busters
Ubi Soft
This racing game enables players to drive classic and modern-looking cars around fantasy environments based on real life – such as Hollywood and Aspen. It’s out on PC at the end of the year, and will appear on Dreamcast when the machine launches in the US.

Time Crisis 2
Namco
Namco's shooting coin-op is headed for Dreamcast, providing yet more evidence that a Dreamcast lightgun will be forthcoming.

To the North: White Illumination
Hudson
According to the materials we got from the Tokyo Game Show, this is a "travel communication". So now you know as much as we do.

Unreal
GT Interactive
The most impressive Quake-style game yet is coming to Dreamcast, and should be very close to an accelerated PC version. We wait and drool.

Virtua Fighter 3: Team Battle
Sega
The greatest fighting game series ever will make its debut simultaneously with the launch of Dreamcast, and will sport new moves and refinements over the arcade original. It incorporates a kind of tag-team mode in which you choose a team of three fighters and pit them against other players' teams over the net. Yeah!

Virtual On 2
Sega
This popular one-on-one robot fightin’ arcade game will make an excellent Dreamcast title, especially when you consider the multiplayer potential.

VR Baseball 2000
Interplay
Sega's already getting some competition in the sports field, in this case it's from Interplay's newly-renamed sports label and its latest baseball title. Expect this version to be hugely enhanced over the already-planned PlayStation and PC versions.

Warzone 2100
Pumpkin
This conversion of the PC realtime strategy game is being ported to Dreamcast with currently unspecified enhancements.

Whiplash 2
Interplay
Stunt car racing is the name of the sequel to last year's PC game, which features highly banked turns and corkscrew tracks. World Series 2000
Sega
It’s baseball, but with an arcade slant. And it should look absolutely fabulous, judging by previous Saturn iterations of this franchise.

Zombie Zone (formerly House of the Dead: Side Story)
Sega
This Naomi-based arcade machine features super-gory beat ‘em up action in which players kick the seven shades of crap out of hordes of zombies. Heads roll. Arms roll. Blood spatters. Sounds like a winner to us! The good news is that a souped-up Dreamcast version is expected to arrive late next year.

- Gutherman (No Cliché / SEGA)

http://www.ign.com/articles/1998/09...tles-on-the-way

Citar:
No Cliché has announced two new Dreamcast titles. Gutherman is a driving game that features some really cool and unusual missions, and Agartha is a horror-adventure game in the RE mold that allegedly has very cool character control and development. Both titles are expected to appear in late '99.

It's one of those horse racing simulations that is much-beloved in Japan, but will probably never see the light of day in the states.

D-Jump
Ubi Soft
Little is known about this title, which Ubi Soft recently confirmed as being in development.

Dynamite Robo

Geist Force
Sega
Developed at Sega's internal US studios, this open-environment shooter, originally shown at this year's E3 as a demo, is being turned into a full-blown product that will be launched when the Dreamcast debuts in the US.

Get Bass
Sega
Yep. It's a fishing game. And it'll be compatible with the Dreamcast fishing reel peripheral that's in development right now. Be still our beating hearts.

Giant Glam ? Japanese National Pro-Wrestling at the Nippon Budokan
Sega
Ah! What we like to see. A nice, self-explanatory title.

One of the earliest recipients of a Dreamcast development kit, Game Arts is busy working on an all-new Grandia title.

Great Buggy
CSK
It's a buggy racing game.

Gundam

Harukaze Sentai V Force 2

King of Fighters '98 ? Dream Match Never Ends
SNK
One of SNK's best fighting games is on its way to Dreamcast in all its side-scrolling 2D glory.

It's... a Mah Jong game.

Marvel vs. Capcom
Capcom
It's side-on beat 'em up action in typical Capcom style as their ultimate fighting game hits Dreamcast. Hurrah!

MDK 2
Interplay
It's muder, death, kill all over again, but this time the action's not coming from Shiny ? Bioware is taking the helm for this sequel.

Midway
No system's software library would be complete without a version of Mortal Kombat, and Dreamcast is no exception.

NEC
Raise your own monsters, save 'em to VMS and take 'em around your friends house and fight them against his.

Indeed, we don't even know what it's a simulation of! Doh!

Monster Breed
Sega
Raise a monster, save it to VMS and take it around a friend's house and fight it against his own monsters. Sounds like fun? We certainly think so.

Ohzumo
Bottom Up
It's a sumo wrestling game, for those of you who are interested.

Pop'n Music
Konami
Konami's chief arcade revenue source in Japan ? dance and rhythm games ? is fast becoming a console priority, and this is its latest such creation in the genre. Not quite Parappa, yet more elaborate than Beat Mania, this game is being targeted at the younger crowd with colorful graphics and cute characters.

Power Stone
Capcom
A first for Capcom ? a fully-3D fighting game. It's actually really cool because the fighting environments have multiple levels, and there are all sorts of objects that you can pick up and use to mash your opponent.

Puyo-Puyon
Compile
It's actually Puyo-Puyo 4 (the first game was released in the states as Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine on Genesis), a strange, but highly addictive puzzle game that has a variety of multi-player modes.

Rayman 2

Eek!

Red Dog
Argonaut
This fast-paced tank shoot 'em up is well underway by English developers Argonaut, the guys who brought you Star Fox and Croc.

It's still at a very, very early stage at the moment, with little more than a young Shun (the old drunken fighter bloke) wandering around some basic environments. Gameplay details are non-existent at the moment, but what we can confirm is that one level will be based on the Babylon Dreamcast demo.

Shienryu 2
Warashi
It's a shooter, and that's all we know.

Street Fighter III: Second Impact
Capcom
Yay! The Streetfighter franchise continues unabated in this latest iteration of the series.

Sonic Adventure
Sega
Sega's evergreen mascot makes his Dreamcast debut in a game that promises to capture the spirit of his original platform-style adventures ? but in 3D.

Speed Busters
Ubi Soft
This racing game enables players to drive classic and modern-looking cars around fantasy environments based on real life ? such as Hollywood and Aspen. It's out on PC at the end of the year, and will appear on Dreamcast when the machine launches in the US.

Yeah!

Virtual On 2
Sega
This popular one-on-one robot fightin' arcade game will make an excellent Dreamcast title, especially when you consider the multiplayer potential.

Sega
It's baseball, but with an arcade slant. And it should look absolutely fabulous, judging by previous Saturn iterations of this franchise.

Zombie Zone (formerly House of the Dead: Side Story)
Sega
This Naomi-based arcade machine features super-gory beat 'em up action in which players kick the seven shades of crap out of hordes of zombies. Heads roll. Arms roll. Blood spatters. Sounds like a winner to us! The good news is that a souped-up Dreamcast version is expected to arrive late next year.

-Braveknight: The Knight of Lieveland (Panther Software)

brave knight braveknight sega dreamcast unreleased panther canned cancelado

brave knight braveknight sega dreamcast unreleased panther canned cancelado

New Details on Braveknight
Enter the age of knights, knighthood, swords, and ... swordhood?

by IGN Staff JULY 13, 2000

Panther Software presents: Braveknight. This particular game was one of the earlier announced Dreamcast titles, and while we still don't have specifics on the gameplay, we have discovered a few details over at the newly opened Braveknight Homepage (it's in Japanese).

The game tells a story of love and bravery, centered around the Ahfolg royal family. There will be numerous characters in the game, of which two have been unveiled:

Remira Ahfolg

Birth: 1/30
Sign: Acquarius
Birthstone: Garnet
Height: 158cm
Weight: 46kg
Hobbies: Strolling in the garden and watching the stars (awwwwwwe).

Rina Ahfolg

Birth: 7/3
Sign: Cancer
Birthstone: Ruby
Height: 142cm
Weight: 37kg
Hobbies: Playing???

Panther has hired professional radio voice actors to act out the parts of all characters. The list of actors currently stands at:

Kikuko Inoue
Miho Yamada
Satomi Kooro
Yukari Honma
Yuki Imai
Emi Honsei
Shouko Sugawara
Ritsuko Kasai
Yu Asakawa
Miwako Hatakeyama
Naoko Kouno
Natsumi Yanase
Kumiko Irai
Miyaka Kurata
Tomoe Nakama

Finally, we have some wall paper, which is included below in both 800x600 and 1024x768 sizes. With the game is expected to hit Japan later this year, and after so long a wait, we can't wait to see what exactly the game is all about.

-- Anoop Gantayat, IGNDC

http://www.ign.com/articles/2000/07...-on-braveknight

Citar:
Illbleed 2
Three years after Illbleed's release, Shinya Nishigaki, the CEO of Crazy Games (formerly Climax Graphics) died of a heart attack. Prior to his death, most of the programming team quit because of a merge with a larger company. After the merge, they announced that they would release a remake for the Xbox some time in 2003. But with continued budget cuts, the game was never completed and was unreleased. As of 2010 there is no news of an Illbleed 2, or a remake.
fuente: http://gaming.wikia.com/wiki/Illbleed

Citar:
Unfortunately, the story of Illbleed ends on a tragic note. Its secret ending hints at a sequel ("Michael Reynolds' Horror Land: The Arcade"), but Sega wasn't the only company left bleeding after the premature end of the Dreamcast, and Crazy Games had to close its doors in December 2002. Cavia took many staff members under their wing, and some former Crazy Games developers have been credited for working on the PS2 port of Winback and on Bullet Witch. In the eyes of founder and former CEO Shinya Nishigaki, however, this was meant to be a mere intermission before rising again. As he is quoted: "To me, Crazy Games is not closed, it's only sleeping. With the economic situation in Japan the way it was, it was better to close Crazy Games," which makes what followed seem even more tragic. In 2004, stories about ports of both Blue Stinger and Illbleed to Microsoft's Xbox came up, but those never manifested. The news, however, was overshadowed by reports of Shinya Nishigaki's death, presumably from a heart attack, at age 42. Nishigaki had started out working on the business side of things back at Chunsoft, but he personally wrote and produced both of Crazy Games' Dreamcast titles.
fuente: http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/illbleed/illbleed.htm

- Traveller (Fenris Wolf - SEGA)

travel01

Citar:
Traveler, the space based RPG, was licensed to Fenris Wolf, and we had intended it to be a 1st person, "PC-Like" RPG for the Dreamcast. It unfortunately was canceled by Sega, as they wanted to concentrate on more action/sport type games for it's launch.

Fuente: http://www.mjonesgraphics.com/traveler.html

Citar:
Hello all
I'm the artist who was mentioned above. The game was only in it's early stages before being shelved. I've been on more games that have been abandoned than have seen release. Just a thing that happens.

We had a ship or two built and one interior. And had some quick walkthroughs to show progress.

(...)

I have to admit I can't remember the game play too much. And I certainly do not have anything playable, however I have a few walk through videos. I've been rummaging around and found some artwork which I'll add shortly. My website started out in 2001 so parts need a little revamping That was before high speed internet and high density screens. I shaved a lot down artwise to keep people sane who were using dial-up!

(...)
Been digging even more (tons of Battlespire stuff too) . Found a mock up of the box, at least a partial prototype, and the 3D models. Have to convert my AniPro textures to something MAX can read these days, but I should be able to get some new stuff up soon.

(...)

I forget the reason, I was more involved in the art side of things. You get used to getting cancelled. I've been working in game graphics for 30 years now. Most of the stuff I've worked on has never seen the light of day. Would have been a nice title, in my rather biased opinion. Traveller had a pretty good following.

The lead programmer and lead artist of the Tomb Raider series have broken away from Core to form their own development group, and Galleon is their first title. It's a 3D adventure game that takes the Tomb Raider style gameplay to new heights. Expect to see it on PC first, with a Dreamcast version to follow in early 2000.

https://www.dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15595

Citar:
Originally Galleon was a Dreamcast game and it did run on Dreamcast. But because of the extended development we had to switch to the later generation of consoles by the time we came out.

I suppose you couldn't call it a beta when we had to switch. We were somewhat close but not beta. The switch cost is almost a year though. Full graphics upgrades to switch up to the next gen. From 300 polys to 500!! Or whatever.

https://segaretro.org/Galleon

No daba a basto.

Os dejo aquí un making of:

Este sí que no me lo esperaba y me lo comentaba hoy el bueno de Wesker:

-Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine (Factor 5 - LucasArts)

Citar:
The Dreamcast version was about 90% done. We had been playing it and testing, and adjusting. The biggest issue for the Dreamcast version for Indy wasn't functionality, it was monetary. Dreamcast sales weren't where the Lucas folks wanted them to be, and the cost of manufacturing and marketing were high -- that was the main reason it was cancelled. We had made improvements to the control system over the PC (and Nintendo) version, and the graphics looked good. Load times were a little slow, but that could have been improved upon. It was just ultimately a marketing decision.
